Is your site located near an existing greenhouse?

If so, our match-making service could be for you.  District Eating can pair your waste heat with an existing horticultural project near your site. Our team have worked together to create a database of growers who are looking to switch to low-carbon methods of growing and have mapped them across the country. If you have waste heat/CO2 resources, or are generating renewable power, then we might be able to help you find a local grower near you and and we will help you identify that opportunity.
What makes a good horticulture site?
There are some considerations to identify when determining usability of your waste heat. When you get in touch, we will chat with you to find information about your heat and CO2 source including;

> Volumes of heat
>Temperature of heat
> Fluctuation throughout the year
> Sources of CO2
> Available onsite or potential for a grid connection
> Available land and ownership

We also consider potential for aquaculture and other types of food production and processing for suitable sites.
