District Eating are very happy to announce that we will donate £50 for every micro-feasibility study we sell to Power for the People (PFP) and their project in Paorinther in Northern Uganda.
The money will contribute to a project to build 10 bio-toilets and washing facilities at Paorinther, directly improving the health of 500+ children. This will also prevent spread of infectious disease in children\’s families and the wider community in Agogo District.
A bio-toilet converts human waste into a quality fertilizer that is safe to handle and can be used for agriculture. In the same process, biogas is also produced and can be used for cooking. Using biogas saves money on charcoal and is better for the environment.
